Notes:
I've been very lucky lately. I'm really enjoying a lot of the recent recordings but this one is right up there with the best. To my shame, I am only familiar with the Play album but on the strength of this performance, i'll be adding a couple more to my shopping list.
This is a great performance, bristling with energy and excitement. Unfortunately, the mood is shattered a couple of times where interview footage has been inserted. I tried editing this out but it did not flow any better and so they remain. With the festival being Rock Am Ring, Moby decides to cover Whole Lotta Love, wisely apologising in advance. Aside from the guitar lead break, it is a solid effort.
Yes, there will be samples and tape loops but the majority of this show is performed live by the artists on stage. Grab it, you won't regret it!
